Gotenica - Goteniški Snežnik mountain trail

At 1,289 metres, Goteniški Snežnik is the highest peak of the Goteniška mountain and the whole of Dolenjska. From the top, there are lovely views to the northeast, while the rest of the region is covered with forest. Earlier, however, a wonderful view opens up from the top of Kameni zid towards Stojna, Kočevska Reka and Goteniški Snežnik. The section of the trail leading to Kameni zid is challenging, especially when it is wet and frosty, but easy in other places.
