To The Land Of Peter Klepec

This route leads from Kočevje through Kočevska Reka and the picturesque Strma Reber pass to Osilnica and Fara. On the way, you can visit the Gottscheer cemetery in Novi Lazi, stop at the thickest Slovenian walnut tree in Kočevska Reka or at Lake Kočevska Reka, then continue to the Krokar (Raven) Forest Reserve and descend through the picturesque Strma Reber pass into the Osilnica valley. From there, you will continue to Fara and then past Banja Loka and Štalcerji and back to Kočevje. The route is challenging and suitable for more experienced cyclists.
