The Deer Route

An ideal choice for an all-day escape into nature with your bike. This circular route takes you right into the heart of Kočevski Rog, into unspoiled nature, past numerous natural and cultural sights such as Lake Kočevje, the Željne Caves, the Pod Krenom burial ground, the remains of the village of Trnovec, the Rajhenavski Rog primaeval forest, the remains of the Rog sawmill, the Queen of Rog and the Beautiful Cave (Lepa jama) at Petrov hill. This is a longer version of the Doe Route.
