Long Kočevje mountain trail
On this route, you will discover in detail the numerous natural beauties of the Kočevsko region.
In the first part, the Long Kočevje Mountain Trail is combined with the Short Kočevje Mountain Trail and then continues along the edges of the Borovška and Goteniška mountains to Goteniški Snežnik, Medvedjak, Sušni vrh and the former forestry centre of Glažuta, through Grčarice to Jasnica and along the peaks of Stojna back to Koča pri Jelenovem studencu. The whole trail is well-marked, with direction signs at all the junctions. A large part of the trail passes through the high mountain karst, so you can see the landscape’s numerous karst features at every step, including sinkholes, swallow holes, hollows, walls and caves.
