Borovec nature trail

The path is circular and takes place from Borovec across Ravne pod Cerkom and Krokar to the saddle of Krempa and back to Borovec. At the end of May, the meadow under the saddle is planted with white daffodils, making it the perfect time to visit. Still, nature here does not skimp on beauty year round: the hellebore blossoms in early spring, while the purple rue grace the months of October and November. Part of the route runs along the very edge of the Kolpa canyon with beautiful views of the river Kolpa and the surrounding hills.

The trail is circular and runs from Borovec to Ravne pod Cerkom and below Krokar peak to Krempa saddle and back to Borovec. It is also suitable for family hikes. The path is marked with a special marking - a daffodil.

Access to the top of Krokar and entry to the forest reserve Pragozd Krokar is not allowed!
